Recently our older Bengal has been finding herself all cozy on top of the sofa cushions. She walks along the edge of the couch then circles on top of one of the cushions until it’s flattened out. Then she curls up on top of and in between the back of the couch. She’s so funny. Just has to be comfortable though.

Hubby snapped this photo as she was enjoying the morning sunshine. So cute!

Bengal Buddies

A recent comment made me think about the day we decided to bring home a new Bengal kitten. A little sister for our 1 year old marbled Bengal. (pictured in the center photo below) At first our older cat didn’t appreciate the new smell in our house. She was super upset. Even scratched my husband on the nose when he tried to pick her up the night we brought home the new kitten. But after awhile, they became best of friends. (as you can tell in the few photos below) They play together, they roughhouse together, they explore together and most of the time, they cuddle up next to each other and sleep together. My opinion…Bengal’s need buddies! So glad we brought home a sister.

The Bengal Chair Bandits

I moved the chairs over to vacuum under the table one morning, went upstairs real quick and two minutes later, the cats were up on the chairs sleeping. Funny how they love to check out new places (not really new, just moved over 4 feet) and how they make themselves at home so quick.

Like most cats ours especially like to lay in the morning and afternoon sunshine. Whether it under a table or a beam of light two feet wide, our kitties always find the spot. And sometimes they’ll sleep just long enough until the light moves. A great time to disturb them with the camera.

Wet Kitty

Both of our Bengal cats LOVE the water. Whether it play time or drinking time, both of our cats race towards the sink every morning when we get up. And sometimes the results are super funny.
